What material is used for roof waterproofing

Modified asphalt material. It is characterized by high temperature resistance, good elasticity and fatigue resistance, and plays a great role in roof waterproofing. However, it is prone to cracks and other problems over time, and its durability is not very strong. Retrofitting ordinary asphalt will form a waterproofing material of modified asphalt, which is placed on the roof by hot-melting the pavement, although the project is cumbersome but repairs the normal asphalt defects and maintains durability and is inexpensive. So when considering which roof waterproofing material is good, this is also the object to be considered.
Waterproof Membrane: Based on synthetic rubber, synthetic resin or a blend of the two, and adding appropriate amount of chemical additives and fillers, it is processed into a sheet-like waterproof material that can be curled through different processes. Asphalt waterproofing membrane: The synthetic polymer modified asphalt is used as the coating layer, the thickness is generally 3mm, 4mm, 5mm, and the asphalt base is the main body. Polymer waterproof coating: using a variety of high molecular polymers as the main film-forming material, it has high elongation at break, tensile strength and automatic repair function. Cement waterproof coating: a two-component waterproof coating material prepared with synthetic polymer emulsion as base material, adding special cement, inorganic curing agent and various additives, with impermeability, adhesion, water resistance and weather resistance . Special waterproof and impermeable slurry: a new type of impermeable waterproof material, which also has a secondary repair function, especially good at treating difficult water leakage in concrete masonry structures. Construction environmental requirements In order to ensure the construction operation and the quality of the coiled material, it should be constructed at a temperature of +50C ~ +350C; the polymer modified asphalt and the polymer waterproofing membrane should not be constructed below the negative temperature, and the hot-melt method should be used. The coiled material can be constructed at temperatures above -100C. This kind of coiled material is resistant to low temperature and is not easy to be frozen under negative temperature. Rain, snow, frost, fog, excessive atmospheric humidity, and windy weather are not suitable for open-air operation, otherwise corresponding technical measures should be taken.
